Violinist, Educator, & Founder

Amy Wang-Hiller is a violinist pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Arts in Violin Performance, with a related focus in instrumental conducting, at the University of North Texas.

Born and raised in Shanghai, she began violin study at three and professional training at sixteen, going on to win the Shanghai Young Artist Competition multiple times and debut as soloist with the Pudong Youth Orchestra. She holds a Bachelor's from East China Normal University School of Music and a Master of Music from Louisiana State University. Despite living with cervical myelopathy and other spine complications from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Amy continues to perform actively in the DFW area, maintains a private violin studio, and is discovering adaptive techniques in helping students find an easier and pain-free way to perform.
